Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Unicoi Development, LLC (“HOOKED,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the HOOKED app and website. By creating an account or using HOOKED, you agree to these terms.

Who can use HOOKED

HOOKED is a software tool for professional fishing guides and their clients. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for your guide license, insurance, permits, tax obligations, and compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to your business.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Keep your business and client information accurate. You must have the right to store any client information you enter into HOOKED.

Subscriptions & billing

• HOOKED is offered as a monthly subscription, with a reduced off-season rate you can switch to when you're not guiding. New accounts include a free trial; the length is shown at sign-up.
• Subscriptions purchased on iOS are billed through your Apple ID. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.

Bookings, payments & payouts

HOOKED helps you take bookings and payments from your clients, but we are not a party to the transaction between you and your client. Client payments are processed by Stripe, and payouts are made to the Stripe account you connect. A card processing fee is added to the client's charge at checkout, as shown before payment. You set your own prices, deposit rules, and refund policy, and you are responsible for honoring them and for the services you provide. HOOKED does not guarantee catch rates, weather, or fish behavior.

Acceptable use

Don't use HOOKED to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam or unlawful messages, or interfere with the security or operation of the service. You are responsible for any messages or content you send through the platform.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content and data you put into HOOKED. You grant us the limited license needed to host and operate the service for you (for example, storing your photos and generating your trip reports and social cards).

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

HOOKED is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unicoi Development, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost bookings, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using HOOKED and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the “last updated” date, and continued use of HOOKED means you accept the updated terms.
