The fish don't care what you look like. They care if you can read water.

The Story

Megan Torres grew up skipping school to fish farm ponds outside San Antonio. By 18 she was running weekend tournaments on Lake Fork. By 25 she was beating fields of 200+ anglers on the Texas tournament trail. She fishes with precision, not power — finesse rigs, light line, and an uncanny ability to read subtle structure changes that most anglers blow past at 70 mph.

Fishing Philosophy

Slow down. Every cast should have a reason. If you're fan-casting, you're sightseeing, not fishing.

Tips from Megan

Fish the shady side of every piece of structure — always.

Downsize your hook one size from what feels right. Better hookup ratio, less snags.

Keep a deck log. Write down water temp, wind, what bit, and where. Patterns reveal themselves over time.
