Mike Yamamoto

Mike Yamamoto guides the rivers of Washington's Olympic Peninsula and the Columbia River system, covering everything from wild steelhead to warmwater bass and walleye. With 16 years of guiding experience, Mike has an intimate knowledge of the region's diverse fisheries and the seasonal rhythms that drive fish behavior in the Pacific Northwest.

Mike's steelhead and trout trips focus on drift boat fishing through some of the most stunning river scenery in North America. His warmwater trips target the incredible smallmouth bass and walleye fisheries of the Columbia and Snake rivers, which produce fish that rival any in the country. He runs both a drift boat and a jet sled depending on the water and target species.
