Full Review
The Lowrance HDS Live 9 is the tournament angler's weapon of choice. Its real strength is Active Target readiness — pair it with the Active Target transducer and you get real-time, forward-facing sonar that shows fish moving and reacting to your bait in real time. Even without Active Target, the HDS Live 9 is a phenomenal unit with excellent traditional sonar, StructureScan, and mapping. It is a serious investment, but tournament anglers will tell you it pays for itself.
